Nos reuniremos frente al Palacio de las Lágrimas para comenzar un recorrido de aproximadamente tres horas y media, en el que exploraremos algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de Berlín durante la Guerra Fría, un periodo fundamental de nuestra historia reciente que es clave para entender el presente.

La construcción de un muro infranqueable dividió la ciudad, separando durante 28 años a amigos, familias y comunidades enteras. En la Bernauer Straße encontraremos el Memorial del Muro, que alberga el tramo mejor preservado de los 155 kilómetros que una vez cortaron la ciudad en dos. Caminaremos por la famosa "franja de la muerte", donde se conserva el único lugar en el que se pueden ver intactas las dos capas del muro, una torre de vigilancia, el Memorial a las Víctimas del Muro y la Iglesia de la Reconciliación.
An impenetrable wall divided the city, separating friends, families, and entire communities for 28 years. At Bernauer Straße we'll find the Berlin Wall Memorial, preserving the best-kept stretch of the 155 km that once cut the city in two. We'll walk through the "death strip," the only place in Berlin where both layers of the Wall remain intact, alongside a watchtower, the Memorial to the Victims, and the Church of Reconciliation.
